William Penhaligon
William Penhaligon was a 19th-century British perfumer and barber who founded the Penhaligon's house in London in 1870. He created Hammam Bouquet, one of the earliest modern fragrances, inspired by the steam and scents of Turkish baths. His work is noted for its refined, classic English character and enduring influence on perfumery.
